The Digital Switch Over Is Getting Closer...Are You Ready?16th Jan 2012 1.46pm
The Digital Switch Over is happening and the date for this to begin is the 12th September 2012. The North East region has three transmitter groups and all areas supplied by these transmitters will be affected on the 12th September. However, this is the only the first stage of the switch over and the second and final stage will take place on the 26th September. This will then mean that the switch over has been complete. However, by this date, if you are not "digitally ready" by the final stage of the switch over, you will lose all of your terrestrial channels and will require a digital signal receiver to receive TV.

As a further note, if you have already put in place actions in order to be ready for the switch over, well done to you! However, you will still lose channels on the 12th September as the first stage takes place and this will require your digital receiver to undergo a complete retune. This can be done by looking at your digital receiver's manufacturer's instruction booklet. A retune will also then need to be done on the 26th September, once the second stage has been completed. Once this is done, this will then mean you are complete and are set to enjoy all the best features brought to you by digital TV.

For people a little worried about the switch over and all of the retuning involved, keep your eyes open in store and right here as we will be soon announcing details regarding our Digital Retune service which is designed to be there when the digital switch over happens and will provide a visit to your house from one of our highly trained staff to retune your digital products. Leonards Electricals Achieves Authorised Electrolux Floorcare Service Centre Status 19th October 2011 4.00pm
Leonards Electricals are proud to announce that through our Service Centre we are now an official, authorised service and repair agent for Electrolux and AEG/Electolux floorcare products. This means that we can fix and repair Electrolux floorcare products and all work will be carried out by highly trained staff authorised by Electrloux themselves using original parts.
This gives Leonards Electricals customers the piece of mind that when they purchase an Electrolux floorcare product from one of our stores, in the unlikely event that something may go wrong, they are guaranteed to have their appliance fixed and returned to them by the most suitable engineers in the business.
Customers can speak to our service engineers over the phone or in person if need be so there is no automated discussions with call centres. Customers are also kept up to date with any news on their appliance such as when parts are expected giving them the piece of mind that once the product is handed over, there is no better place for it to be.
